Should we add liquor? It will, of course, mean the BEST martinis in the world
With the new bar in place we are considering adding a very short list of liquor. We do not intend to offer a “full bar” as we do not have the space, staff, or inclination to make cocktails, etc. Rather, our thinking is to offer rye, rum, vodka, and gin. Basically, if you want a highball we will deliver a glass with ice, a 1 oz shot, and a bottle of mix. So, you are basically limited to our four liquors mixed with any of our available mixes (we will add ginger ale and Sprite).
It’s like adding roast meat to your Caesar Salad. Think of is as adding a shot of rum to your Coke.
Please help with your suggestions… If we are only offering four or five liquors, what should she be? We are interested in what brands our customers might like. We will not, for instance, offer more than on vodka. So, if we have vodka, what shoudl it be? And, if we are only offering a small selection of mixes, what should they be?
The one thing we will also offer is a martini but only under very special circumstances. Why? I am not normally one to boast but, frankly, I make the very best martinis in the history of everything. It’s my super power. So, we will serve martinis as long as I am in house to make you one. Otherwise, no martini for you!
Also note that the breakfast start date has been moved back. For sure, Aug 8 we start serving breakfast from 9 AM to Noon.

Good morning,
This is a fun and exciting addition. My suggestion is Canadian craft spirits … for example: beautiful Ungava Gin made from Tundra botanicals. Craft mix would be nice while you are at it but might make the price point too high…
Looking forward to sampling a martini
