Yesterday and today it has been very cold in the restaurant. Why? Because one of our furnaces is out. We have a rooftop unit that is heat and cooling for the main floor (at this moment of writing, it is 66 f on the main floor which is better than the 61 f I arrived to at 830 this morning.

The basement, though, is still down around 61 f and doesn’t have pizza and roasting ovens to help warm things up.

The building is old and leaky. That is to be expected. But the cold has also revealed some ridiculous problem with a couple of the wall joints and door seals

And… I have been waiting three months for my vestibule door. This needs installation ASAP as we get a heck of draft coming through the front door at times.

Sigh… there is always something that takes me away from doing what I planned on doing.
